My Style

Before starting candid photography, I only had experience in wildlife and landscape photography from my trip to Africa. I wanted to explore more forms of photography where my subjects were people instead of animals or land forms. I explored New York City with my camera, quickly capturing both candids and portraits with my subjects posing. In post-editing, I started to realize that I was drawn to the composition of the candid photos over the posed ones. Now, my goal as a "candid photographer" is to capture people being their true, beautiful selves.
